How we work

The same four steps on every job

Scope changes with the project. The sequence does not.

    We come out, look at the actual job and ask the questions that decide the price — not a phone quote off a square-foot rate.

    Written scope

    You get the work broken down, with allowances called out so you can see where your selections move the number.

    Permits and build

    We pull permits where they are needed, coordinate inspections and run the trades in the right order.

    Punch list and handover

    We walk the finished job with you and work the list until it is genuinely done, not nearly done.

  • What areas do you serve?
    We work across Fresno, Tulare, Kings & Madera Counties — the 559 and 357 footprint of the Central San Joaquin Valley. That includes Fresno, Clovis, Visalia, Madera, Tulare, Hanford, Porterville, Sanger, Reedley, Selma, Dinuba, Kingsburg, Lemoore and Chowchilla, along with the foothill communities near our base such as Dunlap and Orange Cove.
  • Are you licensed?
    Yes. Sequoia Builders & Remodel Inc. holds California contractor license CSLB #1160042. You can look the number up yourself at cslb.ca.gov, which is the authoritative public record for a California contractor's status, classification, bond and workers' compensation information — we would rather you check it than take our word for it.
  • What kinds of projects do you take on?
    New home construction, room and home additions, whole-home remodeling, kitchen and bathroom remodels, decks and patio covers, flooring and interior finish, staircases and finish carpentry, siding and exterior work, and roofing as part of the building work we do.
  • Do you offer free estimates?
    Yes — estimates are free. Call or text (559) 480-9933 or send the free-estimate form, and we will come out, look at the actual job and put a written scope and number to it. There is no charge and no obligation.
  • Do you do both small remodels and full new builds?
    Both. A single bathroom is a real job and gets treated as one; so is a ground-up house. The difference is scope and schedule, not how carefully the work gets done.
  • Are you insured and bonded?
    We publish only what can be independently verified. Our CSLB license number is #1160042 — look it up at cslb.ca.gov and the public record will show the license's current status and classification along with its bond and workers' compensation information. Ask us for anything further before you sign a contract and we will provide it directly.
