How We Handle Flooring & Finish

Check the subfloor
Flatness, moisture and any soft spots get found and dealt with first. Every flooring failure we have been called out to look at started here.
- 02
Material and layout
We talk through plank width, direction, transitions and thresholds, and price it in writing against the square footage.
- 03
Prep and install
Old covering out, subfloor leveled where it needs it, underlayment down, and flooring laid to the agreed layout with proper expansion at the perimeter.
- 04
Doors, casing and base
Doors hung and adjusted, casing and base cut and fitted, transitions finished, then caulk and paint touch-up.

Yes. Bring the material, we will check that it suits the subfloor and the room, and price the labor and prep.Do we need to move out during flooring work?
Usually not. We work room by room or wing by wing where we can, though furniture has to move out ahead of each area and there is dust during prep.
